Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst Programmer / Senior SQL Developer with 4 + years of experience in handling large-scale databases, developing complex SQL queries, and building reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, SSRS, and SSIS, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate large volumes of data efficiently
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions
• Develop, maintain, and enhance SSRS reports for business and financial reporting
• Design and manage SSIS packages for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization for large databases
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs
• Troubleshoot data issues and provide timely resolutions
• Support ongoing maintenance and enhancements of existing data systems
• Document technical specifications, processes, and workflows

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in SQL development
• Strong expertise in:
  • Writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
  • Query optimization and performance tuning
  • Working with large relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
• Experience with:
  • SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
  • SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Knowledge of financial data/reporting systems
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Shell scripting)
